Terms of Service

Review draft · Effective date to be confirmed

Draft for owner review — not ready for public use. Business details and practices remain unconfirmed. Complete the highlighted review notes and approve the final wording before publishing.

1. Website & experience terms

These draft terms cover the Anchor & Isle Events LLC website and the process of exploring and arranging coastal experiences. Final booking documents should set out the specific arrangements and applicable conditions for your reservation.

Owner review: Confirm the legal business name, final domain, business contact email and mailing address, effective date, and the agreement/acceptance process. This draft is not an adopted booking agreement.

2. Experience information

Website descriptions provide an introduction to boat days, island picnics, camping, captain services, proposals, and elopements. Before reserving, confirm the complete inclusions, guest capacity, duration, timing, location, price, and any special arrangements for your selected package.

Images show settings and experiences; confirm which features are included in your reservation.

3. Inquiries, consultations & reservations

A date request or a consultation is a planning step, not a confirmed experience reservation. Proposals and elopements begin with a free consultation with Tiffany. Final arrangements and availability must be confirmed for the actual experience.

Island camping requires coordinated drop-off, setup, and pickup. Onshore camping depends on setup availability.

Owner review: Define precisely when a reservation becomes binding, who may book, required guest information, acceptance of terms, and how confirmations are issued.

4. Prices & payments

Review the total price and agreed payment requirements before paying. Captain Services are priced by the hour; confirm total hours and arrangements.

Owner review: Insert the approved deposit, remaining-balance deadlines, near-term booking rules, accepted methods, taxes/fees, add-ons, and consequences of missed payments. The previously discussed 50%/seven-day approach is a proposal, not an adopted rule.

5. Cancellations, rescheduling & refunds

Ask for the applicable cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms before reserving.

Owner review: Insert specific approved deadlines, fees, refund eligibility and timing, no-show/late-arrival rules, and treatment of provider cancellations. Do not publish a nonrefundable deposit clause or cancellation deadline that the owners have not approved.

6. Weather & operational changes

Boat and outdoor experiences may be affected by weather or operational conditions. Confirm the weather decision process and alternatives with the team before reserving.

Owner review: Define who makes the safety/weather decision, how and when customers are notified, and whether each situation leads to rescheduling, credit, or refund. Do not leave the remedy undefined in the final agreement.

7. Guest responsibilities & suitability

Provide accurate guest and planning information. Discuss accessibility, children, pets, dietary needs, and other requirements before booking. Follow the instructions given for your confirmed experience and confirm what to bring.

Owner review: Finalize safety instructions, age/guest limits, boarding/accessibility suitability, alcohol/pet/site rules, conduct standards, and arrival expectations. Do not imply a license, insurance coverage, safety certification, or service that has not been verified.

8. Activity-specific documents

Boating, island access, and camping can involve risks and conditions specific to the activity. Ask which instructions and separate documents apply to your experience before participating.

Owner review: Have qualified local counsel review any activity waiver, assumption-of-risk language, liability limits, emergency procedures, and minor/guardian consent. This website draft contains no activity waiver, indemnity, arbitration clause, or liability release.

9. Website content & acceptable use

Use the website lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt its operation, gain unauthorized access, or submit misleading information. Obtain permission from the relevant rights holder before reusing protected images, logos, or other content.

External services may provide booking, payment, or other functions. Review any applicable provider terms and privacy notices when using those services.

10. Questions, disputes & updates

Raise questions about your reservation using the confirmed business contact details provided in your booking documents. Final terms should display an effective date and explain how updates apply.

Owner review: Insert verified contact details and finalize applicable law, dispute handling, order of precedence with booking documents, and treatment of changes with appropriate legal review. Do not apply new terms retroactively without a lawful basis.
